Create your account
Sign up here with a player name, email and password. In the game, you sign in with that email and password.
Get the game client, legally
We do not host or share game files. You need version 1.53.0.203, unmodified. The official route is Steam's Test Center:
- Open Steam and go to your Library.
- Select Marvel Heroes Omega, then choose Manage → Properties.
- Open Game Versions & Betas.
- Under "Install game version", choose
public_mh_testcenter.
Prefer another source? Some players look for the original installer in the Internet Archive. Whatever you use, the client must be that exact version and unmodified, or the launcher will not accept it.
Get the Renaissance launcher
You need two things: the launcher, and our server file, Mho.Deployment.json, which tells the launcher where the server is. Download both and put the file in the same folder as the launcher. Without it, the launcher starts but has no server and no updater.
- Windows: download the
.zip, extract it anywhere, and runOmegaLauncher.exe. - Linux / Steam Deck: download the
.tar.gz, extract it, and runstart-omega-launcher.sh.
On the download page, grab the file for your system. You can ignore the "programs" files, which are only used for updates. SHA256SUMS.txt lists a checksum for every file if you want to verify your download.
Heads up: the launcher is not code-signed, so antivirus software may show a warning.
Launch and play
Open the launcher, point it at your client folder if asked, and press play. Sign in with your account, choose a hero and jump in. If you get stuck, ask in our Discord.
